BestBuilds.LOL is a free, independent, community-run analytics tool for the video game League of Legends. We aggregate and display public data made available by Riot Games’ public APIs (summoner profiles, match history, champion stats, builds, runes, tier lists, leaderboards, etc.).

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the site. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the site on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

The site does not require you to create an account and does not host user-generated content. Search inputs you type are used only to serve you results and are logged for security/analytics purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the site for your own personal, non-commercial use.

You must not, and must not permit anyone else to:

• Copy, scrape, crawl, harvest, or otherwise extract the site’s data in bulk (whether manually or with automated tools) without our prior written permission.
• Use the site or its data to train, fine-tune or evaluate machine-learning or generative-AI models without our prior written permission.
• Circumvent rate limits, CAPTCHAs, robots.txt, ad delivery, consent management or any other technical or security measure.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive the source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.
• Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or make available the site’s data or aggregated computations as your own product or dataset.
• Use the site to harass, defame, dox, stalk, threaten or otherwise harm any person, including players named in match data.
• Use the site to facilitate cheating, boosting, elo selling, bet manipulation, real-money trading or any activity that violates Riot Games’ Terms of Service.
• Introduce viruses, malware, trojans or other harmful code; attempt to gain unauthorised access; or interfere with the site (denial-of-service, injection, spam, etc.).
• Use the site in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Stats, builds, tier lists, meta rankings and recommendations are generated automatically from public match data and third-party sources. They are provided “as is”, are estimates and opinions, and may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate or out of date. Riot’s API can be unavailable or return partial data.

Nothing on the site constitutes professional advice of any kind. In particular, the site does not provide betting, gambling, financial or investment advice, and must not be used as a basis for any wager, bet or monetary decision. You use the information on the site at your own risk.

The site is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense and other third-party advertising services. By using the site you acknowledge that ads may be displayed and that advertising partners may set cookies and use device identifiers as described in the Privacy Policy.

The site may link to third-party websites and services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, ads, offers, products, services or privacy practices. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and that third party.

The site’s original layout, source code, interface, aggregated computations and written content are © BestBuilds.LOL and are protected by copyright, database and other intellectual-property rights.

Game assets (champion icons, splash art, ability icons, item icons, spell icons, rune graphics, map assets, in-game names, etc.) are the property of Riot Games, Inc. and are used under Riot’s fan-content policy for the purpose of identifying the game and its content. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, please send a notice to contact@bestbuilds.lol containing:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
• The URL or specific location of the allegedly infringing material on the site.
• Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
• A statement, made in good faith, that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on its behalf.

We may remove or disable access to the material and may forward the notice (including your identity) to the person who provided the content. Sending a false notice may result in liability.

Riot IDs and match data displayed on the site come from Riot’s public API. If you would like your Riot ID removed from our cache and excluded from future indexing, contact contact@bestbuilds.lol from an address that lets us reasonably verify account ownership. See also the “Your rights” section of the Privacy Policy.

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or that the site will be secure, uninterrupted, timely or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

We make no warranty regarding data obtained through the site or that it will meet your requirements. No advice or information obtained from us or through the site creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BestBuilds.LOL, its operators, contributors and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, business, opportunity, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of (or inability to use) the site, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the site is limited to fifty euros (EUR 50).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any statutory rights of consumers that may not be waived.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless BestBuilds.LOL and its operators, contributors and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (i) your use of the site; (ii) your violation of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual-property or privacy right; or (iv) any content you send to us.

We may add, change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site (features, data sources, appearance, availability) at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be signalled by updating the “Effective” date and, where required by law, by a more prominent notice. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time, with or without cause and without notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law and dispute resolution.

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, epidemic, network or power outages, or failures of third-party providers (including Riot Games’ APIs and our hosting providers).

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the site are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The competent courts of Romania have exclusive jurisdiction, save that (i) mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence still apply, and (ii) consumers residing in the European Union may also bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.

EU consumers may also access the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated to and do not commit to participate in alternative dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration body.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any notices posted on the site, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site and supersede any prior agreements on that subject.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign them without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

Notices. We may give notice to you by posting on the site or by email if you have provided one. You may give notice to us at contact@bestbuilds.lol.

Relationship. Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, joint venture or employment relationship.

Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and have no legal effect.
