WHAT.IS_THIS

The Champions Catalog is a live index of every League of Legends champion, enriched with statistics aggregated from matches ingested by BestBuilds. Tier ratings, winrates and pickrates update as new matches flow in — no editorial guesswork. Champion metadata and portraits are pulled directly from Riot's Data Dragon so newly released champions appear as soon as the patch drops.

›How are tiers (S / A / B / C / D) calculated?

Tiers are derived from winrate percentiles across all champions with at least 3 games ingested. Top 15% = S, next 20% = A, middle 30% = B, next 20% = C, bottom 15% = D. Champions without enough sample size show ?.

›Where does the data come from?

Live from Riot Games' public API: match history from tracked players, plus Data Dragon for champion metadata & assets. The free rotation is the current CHAMPION-V3 rotation.

›Why is my favorite champion showing 0 games or '?'?

They simply haven't appeared in matches BestBuilds has ingested yet. Search a summoner who plays them and their games will feed into the aggregate.

›How often does the data refresh?

Champion stats refresh every ~5 minutes, the free rotation every hour, and the champion catalog updates automatically each patch.
