Reworked, retuned or shifted around

"Anivia's been struggling to find success in the mid lane as of late. Her low mobility is one of her weaknesses, so we're lowering her Q's cooldown slightly as a way for her to keep her enemies at bay while also giving he"

"Azir's a bit too powerful in higher levels of play at the moment, but he's in pretty good shape for regular play. So we're looking to shift his power around and reduce those pro-specific strengths. To do this, we're digg"

"Despite her lack of self-control, Briar's been tearing it up as one of the highest performing junglers at lower ranks for a bit now. We're looking to tap down her power to bleed out enemies with her passive at max stacks"

"In her current state, Camille's laning phase is very hit or miss: Either she can comfortably beat her opponent with her passive, or she can't really engage with the lane and loses. While she appears powerful in the hands"

"Fizz is a little weak right now (some might say he's floundering) and is incredibly reliant on snowballing, as his base damages are appropriate in the early game but generally don't scale well without gold. We're looking"

"Graves is a fairly popular jungler that's performing decently right now, but his builds have devolved into one-shot lethality. We don't believe this to be a good state for him because his playstyle becomes one-shot or be"

"Despite Katarina feeling oppressive in the mid-game, she's been having a hard time actually converting her snowballs into wins. This is true even in the hands of her most dedicated mains. So, we're going to play up some "

"Malphite's a solid top laner and a consistent rock for his teams, but even so he is often a bit heavy for his teams. We're giving him a little help this patch by increasing his base armor just a bit to solidify his early"

"At higher skill levels Orianna's early wave clear is far too safe and her optimized builds make her too tanky for her to be exposed to any real risks, so we're looking to re-introduce some risk to her overall kit. We wan"

"Our nerfs last patch to Pantheon hit him a bit too hard, so we're walking them back a little bit. We still want there to be a strong clear speed tradeoff for a jungler with such reliable ganks, but it doesn't have to be "

"Veigar's been coming up a bit short of success as of late, so to help our resident miniature king we're upping his W's AP ratio so he can take more advantage of his infinite AP scaling to pop enemies he catches with a we"

"Volibear's been one of the strongest junglers in solo queue for a while now, so in this patch we're looking to bring his (ability) power down a notch. His ability to synergize with cooldown reduction has allowed him to s"

"Warwick is particularly oppressive in lower skill brackets of play, so we're looking to make his claws and teeth just a little less lethal. As he's often able to simply build tank items later in the game, we're nudging h"

"Wukong has been performing quite well at the highest levels of play despite not being particularly strong at lower skill levels. We're looking to bring his ceiling down and floor up a bit by moving some power away from h"

Welcome to the official patch of the 2025 League of Legends World Championship! As most of our pro-focused changes came in the last patch, we're taking great care to ensure this patch's changes jive with both pro players and the rest of us at home. As a result, we're delivering some buffs for champions who underperform when comparing experienced players to experienced players of other champions, some nerfs to long-term overperformers in lower skill brackets, and a set of adjustments aimed at buffing or nerfing pro power without affecting overall win rates for Normal and Ranked play.
Griefing in high MMR games is a problem we see pretty consistently that ruins games for players, specifically for pros, streamers, or content creators.
Sure it's cool to get into a game with your favorite streamer or pro, but what isn't cool are the players that run it down in these players' games to get a cheap laugh, camping these player's lanes, or just generally altering how you play because of a high profile player in your game. This absolutely isn't something we're okay with, so we've built an upgraded streamer mode in partnership with our creators and pros to protect against negative actions like these.
In practice, our new and improved streamer mode will have three modes of anonymity that you can opt into. They are as follows:
In situations where your "teammate" bans your champion we see higher report rates, lower win rates, and a reported overall worse experience. In this patch we're experimenting with removing the ability to ban your ally's hovered champion to help alleviate these negative interactions. We'll be watching how this change goes and listening to your feedback before making a call on whether we revert this change or roll it out worldwide, so please let us know what you think!
Welcome to the final patch of this activation of Doom Bots! For those keeping track, all three Trials of Doom will be live in this patch. It also means this is your last chance to get a win in each and earn the title "Definitely Not a Bot". We've still got a couple Trials to master ourselves, so we'll see you there!
We also looked at how individual Champions have been performing against our terrifying Doom Bots, and are making a few balance tweaks to help out the most underperforming options for this final patch.
What's up Arena gamers? In this patch, we are continuing to address outlier champions while paying specific attention to stat checkers that were simply too strong. Additionally, we are showing love to some of our poke champions that have been struggling to perform and made some changes to make our items more consistent with Summoner's Rift. We have nerfed some stronger augments such as Mad Hatter and Gamba Anvil as well. To the Arena!
Starting in this patch you'll now be able to search for emotes in your emote library by champion name. So instead of searching "WAHAHA" or "AWW YISS" you'll be able to find them by just typing "Jinx" instead!
In this patch we're going through and updating some icon rarities. This is part of an ongoing effort to update icons to match the rarity level of their associated skins, so expect more to come soon! The following Icon's rarity levels have been updated:
The following skins will be released in this patch:
The following chromas will be released this patch:
